Island man Andrew Titmuss has been appointed Head of Sales and Marketing at Captiva Homes Ltd.
Andrew comes to Captiva Homes from his role as Sales Manager at one of the nation’s largest house builders, where he oversaw a variety of developments across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
Andrew was born, grew up, and went to school on the island. As a young boy, he had an interest in property and had designs on a career as an architect, but this changed in his teenage years when he decided to study to become a community midwife.
To pay for his studies, Andrew started working in the hospitality sector where he quickly discovered that both selling and delivering excellent customer service came naturally to him.
“I soon moved into house sales with a major house builder, where I improved my versatility and was trusted with the division’s flagship development of bespoke top end products and prices exceeding £1.1m,” says Andrew.
“With a passion for everything house and home and a wealth of experience in sales, it was natural that I would eventually find myself best placed within the new homes sector of the property industry.
“I am so excited to be taking on a more senior role with Captiva. I am extremely passionate about the Isle of Wight as a location, so I am delighted to be working with an independent developer with superb standards and a close eye on the essence of the Isle of Wight: its landscape, its environment and its people.”
